Ron Penland brings over 35 years of leadership and business management experience to the Renaissance EXECUTIVE FORUMS process. Ron has held a variety of Senior Level Management and Finance Management positions throughout his business career, including the positions of CEO, President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Controller. He was one of founders and served as the CEO and President of Palomar Technologies Corporation, a manufacturer of capital equipment for the semi conductor industry. During his tenure he built a new management team and focused the organization to reduce time to market for new product development. As COO of Palomar Technological Companies, Ron was instrumental in the successful transition of five business units into private ownership after the purchase from Hughes Aircraft Company in 1995.

 

As the President of Renaissance EXECUTIVE FORUMS, Ron assists area entrepreneurs and business leaders by facilitating a process that keeps them abreast of current business trends, improves their quality of life, provides peace of mind, exposes them to new ideas and helps them achieve better results. Ron brings to this process a wealth of experience in working with senior level people, facilitating effective meetings and managing structured processes. Ron currently has six active forum groups in the Inland Empire.

 

Ron is a graduate of Wichita State University and Pepperdine University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration respectively. He is a Viet Nam veteran and spent eight years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps flying both helicopters and jet aircraft. Ron and his wife Betty have four grown children.
