Walter A. Hardenstine brings over thirty-five years of leadership and management experience to Renaissance EXECUTIVE FORUMS. Mr. Hardenstine has held a number of management and senior management positions during an impressive career. During the last five years, Walt has grown the Renaissance Executive Forum groups in Tampa Bay to a membership of over 56 of some of the areas most well respected and run businesses.
With the help of his partner, Mark Rodriguez, the membership has a footprint that represents over $8 billion in revenue and over 12,000 employees for the combined member companies. Walt is a distinguished graduate of the University of Florida and was commissioned an officer in the US Army Reserves upon graduation. He then joined Hertz Corporation and quickly earned numerous promotions by delivering outstanding performance. He rapidly rose to a District Manager position with Hertz at the impressive age of twenty-eight. Walt's reputation in the industry prompted an offer from Ryder Systems and he became a Regional Sales manager. Throughout his tenure at Ryder, his organization and people were constantly recognized for their contributions to the company. He earned a reputation in the industry for innovation, particularly in the area of leasing. Walt concluded his career in the truck rental and leasing industry by running Central Florida for Rollins. During this assignment he was instrumental in helping Rollins achieve monumental growth and profitability in Central Florida.
Walt was raised in Pinellas County and currently resides in Tampa, Florida. He is an avid golfer and actively involved in many varied aspects of the community ranging from Metropolitan Ministries, his church and organizations devoted to the development of the arts throughout Florida.
