Tom Jackson brings 30 years of successful business leadership and diversified business experience to Renaissance EXECUTIVE FORUMS. During his career, Tom has held senior level positions with three Fortune 500 companies. At GTE Corporation and Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., he was actively involved in strategic planning and corporate development. With First Union National Bank, now Wachovia Bank, Tom served as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions within the Investment Banking Group.

 

Tom also founded and managed his own independent merger and acquisition firm for many years, closing 125 business sale transactions and providing corporate finance advisory services to a wide range of Southeastern companies. Additionally, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Supreme Corporation, a $50 million manufacturer located in Mullins, South Carolina where he also was a member of the Board of Directors. Tom is a creative problem solver who uses his expertise in the areas of executive leadership, business management, strategic planning, business valuation, mergers & acquisitions, financial analysis and capital procurement to help business owners and company presidents improve their effectiveness and the performance of their organizations.

 

He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from N. C. State University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
