Glenn Perkins, peer group leader and executive coach, is the go-to expert for empowering business owners, top executives and entrepreneurs with proven, real-world techniques that produce bottom line results. His 25 years of experience in key real world situations – new business start-up, organizational turn around and sustaining business success – provides proven insight into the attributes of the organizational leader necessary to achieve success. Glenn has executive experience in all aspects of a business – profit and loss accountability, team development, engineering management, business development and program management – which allows him to design, organize and deliver effective peer advisory forums.

 

Glenn was Vice President of Northrop Grumman Marine Systems and accountable for a $500M dollar annual revenue, 1500 employee, five location organization that designed, produced, delivered and provided on-going life-cycle support for stealthy propulsion machinery and ultra-reliable ballistic missile launchers that enabled the mission of the nations nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers. At Northrop Grumman Navigation Systems, he turned around in 13 months a $30M dollar program disaster and delivered the key fiber optic pointing sensor for a classified military satellite that is protecting our country today. Prior to that, Glenn held the position of Director of Surface Ship Programs, with responsibility for a $100M dollar firm-fixed-price program that was going through qualification and into production - delivering 25 Megawatt aircraft carrier turbine-generators. As Vice President of Business Development at AirSpeak – a start-up and early innovator in the mobile tablet space, he was successful in structuring and closing deals with companies like Cisco, Cerner and Wyse Technologies. 

 

Glenn studied Mechanical Engineering (Course 2) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has also completed the General Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Glenn has been an avid supporter of Junior Achievement for over 20 years and supports many other Science, Technology, Engineering and Math initiatives within the community.
